FANTASY FOOTBALL WEEK 15 INJURY REPORT: SEE YOU NEXT SEASON VICTOR CRUZ

As always injuries played a central role in fantasy football Week 15. With only one more week to go in the season, here are the key injury items which came out of Sunday's games.

-New York Giants WR Victor Cruz fell two yards shy of 1,000 yards receiving for the season and he won't get there after suffering both a concussion and a knee injury in Sunday's loss to the Seattle Seahawks.  Cruz has already been ruled out for the remainder of the season.  It was a bit of a letdown year for Cruz who didn't come close to matching his TD and receptions numbers from his previous two campaigns.

-The Jacksonville Jaguars are likely going to shut down WR Cecil Shorts for the remainder of the season due to the ongoing groin injury that kept him out Sunday.  Shorts was terrific in the first half of the season but his numbers sank when he got banged up in the second half.

-Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald suffered a concussion Sunday that left him "out of it" according to a team report.  Fitzgerald will have to go through the NFL protocol like anywhere else who suffers a head injury but his status is very shaky for Week 16.

-Indianapolis Colts RB Donald Brown was able to return to the field after a first half stinger.  He will be good to go for Week 16.

-Cincinnati Bengals tight end Jermaine Gresham was forced out of Sunday night's game with a hip injury.  If he were to miss next week's game, Tyler Eifert would become a very smart pickup.

-Denver Broncos WR Wes Welker is iffy for Week 16 due to the concussion he suffered back in Week 14.  He sat out Sunday and could very well be rested the rest of the regular season so he can possible return for the playoff contests.

There you have it.  As always let us know what you think.
