FANTASY BASEBALL BREAKING NEWS; YANKEES SIGN 2B BRIAN ROBERTS

The New York Yankees made another move to fill the giant void left by Robinson Cano Tuesday by agreeing to terms with free agent second baseman Brian Roberts.  Terms were not disclosed but the contract will have a length of one year.

Analysis:  This is a no-news item as far as fantasy baseball is concerned, even with Roberts going to such a great park in New York.  He is now 36-years-old, has averaged only 48 games a season the last four years, and his speed is almost shot.  In fact I would be much more interested if Kelly Johnson were the starter.
