FANTASY BASEBALL HOT STOVE BREAKING NEWS: RANGERS NOW LOOKING TO DEAL ELVIS ANDRUS OR JURICKSON PROFAR TO OPEN UP SPOT FOR ROBINSON CANO

One day after the blockbuster deal sending second baseman Ian Kinsler to the Detroit Tigers for 1B Prince Fielder, reports are now circulating that the Texas Rangers are looking for a taker for either shortstop Elvis Andrus or 2B Jurickson Profar in order to make a run at free agent Robinson Cano.  The St. Louis Cardinals called the Rangers late Wednesday night according to a source looking to see if Andrus or Profar were off the table after the deal and were told that wasn't the case.

Analysis:  Here we go.  The Rangers could be insanely good if they can pull this off.  There is a ton of interest fort both Andrus and Profar out there so a deal is possible.  Teaming up Cano with Fielder and Adrian Beltre would be immense for the lineup.  Cano has seen a slow start to his free agency with only the Yankees showing much interest but things could change quickly.  Stay tuned.
