FANTASY BASEBALL HOT STOVE BREAKING NEWS: METS LOOKING INTO DEALING FOR RYAN BRAUN

The New York Mets have looked into the idea of trading for disgraced Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun according to MetsBlog's Matt Cerrone.  The Brewers have reportedly been taking offers about Norichika Aoki but have recently come around to offering up Braun instead.  In addition the Brewers realize his giant contract will be an issue and are this willing to take on some of the money owed.

Analysis:  Wow.  Can't blame the Brewers for wanting to get out from this mess and the Mets would be a perfect fit as a team looking to make a splash.  The biggest question mark of the fantasy baseball season is what Braun's numbers will look like after getting off the 'roids but overall he is not worth pursuing due to all the headaches he brings and his still expected high draft cost.
