HOCKEY FIGHTS CENTRAL POTENTIAL FIGHT OF YEAR: MILAN LUCIC VS. JOEL RECHLICZ

Wow.  That is the only word which can be used to sum up the amazing preseason tilt between the Boston Bruins' Milan Lucic and the Washington Capital's Joel Rechlicz.  After Rechlicz picked a fight and pummeled Boston's non-tough guy Johnny Boychuk earlier in the game, Lucic made sure to get revenge for his teammate in going after the Capital's goon.  The result was one of the best toe-to-toe fights we have seen in awhile.  Both guys landed bombs throughout which made calling a winner futile.  However one thing for sure is that both guys had to be hurting after this bout.  Hopefully Rechlicz makes the team as we have seen enough of the light on toughness Capitals the last few seasons who have trotted out Matt Hendricks (now in Nashville) as their prime tough guy.  Monday is cutdown day which should bring that answer.  Based on the Lucic bout, Rechlicz has made it in my opinion.
