Washington Nationals ace SP Stephen Strasburg is going to be allowed to throw 200 innings during the 2013 season. After being capped at 160 innings in 2012, Strasburg is being given more leash for the upcoming year. No word on whether he will be able to exceed that number if the Nats make the playoffs.
Analysis: Good news but this doesn't change my opinion that Strasburg is a sizable fantasy baseball risk as a Verducci Rules violator. Strasburg also still has that violent delivery that seemed to wear his shoulder down last season once September arrived. Proceed with caution.
