FANTASY BASEBALL WRAPUP: MONDAY
Jose Reyes: 0/3 while hitting .342. The fact Reyes had no hits last night serves as big news for sure.
Mike Pelfrey: 7 IP 4 H 2 ER 0 BB 6 K with an ERA of 5.11. Dont even think about it.
Carlos Carrasco: 7 IP 5 H 0 ER 3 BB 7 K with an ERA of 4.09. Once upon a time this guy had some major prospect shine to him. HE has been great his last two outings so those in deeper leagues need to pay attention.
Miguel Montero: 3/4 with 4 RBI while hitting .282. Finally a game with some offense to talk about. Montero is doing exactly what I thought he would. Very solid production for a catcher at a cheap rate. Thats how its done folks. Enough with the Joe Mauer busts of the world.
Justin Upton: 3/6 while hitting .278. I love this kid. I love everything about him. Except that his brother is BJ.
Ricky Nolasco: 5 ER in 3 IP with an ERA of 4.23. Just when we thought he was finally going to give you that big time season we all anticipated, he goes out and drops two turds that would make an elephant proud n his last two starts.
Ryan Dempster: 7 IP 4 H 0 ER 1 BB 7 K with an ERA of 5.48. See what happens with a veteran player whose luck is starting to turn around? Yup.
Hunter Pence: 3/4 with his 9th HR while hitting .325. Doesnt it seem like almost every guy who gets hurt comes back and immediately hits a home run? Big hopes for Hanley Ramirez tonight.
Wandy Rodriguez: 6 IP 2 H 0 ER 4 BB 5 K with an ERA of 3.12. This guy is so inconsistent its crazy but he always does well at home and in the second half of the season. Just saying.
Vernon Wells: 2/4 with 2 home runs (6 on year) while hitting .196. The Mark Reynolds special.
Joey Votto: 1/4 with his 9th HR while hitting .333. I just feel that Votto is going to go nuts real soon. You watch.
Hiroki Kuroda: 6.1 IP 7 H 2 ER 0 BB 6 K with an ERA of 3.31. Yeah Kuroda will be sitting on the waiver wire like usual for no reason when I need him the second half of the season. Its appreciated everyone.
