St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Matt Holliday will spend his second stint on the DL this season, this time for a quad strain that he originally suffered over two weeks ago. An MRI was conducted on the area Wednesday and the results were not positive. Holliday spent time on the DL earlier this season with an appendicitis.
Analysis: As great as Holliday has been hitting when in the lineup, he hasnt been very dependable as far as health. No doubt its been a very frustrating season for Holliday owners in that respect and the last two weeks wree bungled by both the team and player. Wait it out and hope its not a long stint.
